Iron Sheik partied like a rock star and pushed his body past the breaking point. Now he's an old man with the difficulties of aging and old injuries. It's no more sad that he's in that situation than any other elderly person in a similar situation, pain, immobility, lack of savings. Eventually health and money run out for most everybody if they live long enough.

You want a sad wrestling story look at the Benoits or Von Erichs. Plenty of others but those ones stand out for me.

the von erichs is a really sad and tragic story. kerry and kevin were my fav von erichs (but I think they were everyone's favs)
