Anyone else have "rituals" before bed?

You guys got me thinking about that now...there are times when I have paused a movie I'm in the middle of watching to go out on the porch.
Not really but my son is usually out playing with his friends and I try to keep abreast of his activities....back on topic though,I also like to sit on the porch or even walk around in front of the house for a few minutes late at night before turning in.My street gets pretty busy with traffic in the afternoon and late at night I love how serene it is.
Sounds like you enjoy quite a bit of
Porch type activities. The only rituals I have is smoke a cigarette, take a sip of water and then turn off the fish tank lights.

Strange. You live in the ghetto? I can honestly say I have never seen or heard of this type of activity your partaking in.
Really I have seen this. It is usually in movies of an Italian suburb in the states....typically the ones looking about on the porch are with the mob checking to see if a hit will be done tonight.
That's fake...or at least I hope so.

I dont think its strange, I dont live in the ghetto, nor do any of my friends, but all of us have "posted up" for one reason or another. Really you're just letting others know you're up and aware.
Very common where I grew up in Southern California. A lot of people will also hang out front of their house and drink beer or whatever and just sort of watch the neighborhood. Especially if they lived in Los Angeles area in the 80's and early 90's.

Get home from work around 3am, s,s,s, mess around on the computer for a while (usually World of Tanks, while a movie is up on the other computer), check doors again, turn lights on in big tank, feed about 15 mins later, go to bed.
In spring and fall when it's a little cooler I'll sit out on the front or back porch and have a nice cigar once or twice a week.
I've got a boring life, lol.
