Anyone else have "rituals" before bed?

Question for you all who say that they "lock the doors" or "make sure they are locked". Do you not keep it locked or lock the door when you get home? When I get home I walk in and immediately turn around and lock the doors and deadbolt it. I rarely check before I go to sleep. Just an observation.
I have no routine. The one thing I dread is getting old and doing the same thing day after day. Some days I stay up until 5am and just mess around and check on animals and go to bed. Other days I fall asleep earlier with the GF. Some days I skip brushing my teeth, other days I might get on the treadmill before I hit the hay. I'm not a routine kind of guy I guess.

I lock my door when I get home but this time of year I'm almost constantly going in and out as I have several projects going on in my yard or if I'm not doing any of those I come out onto the porch and look up and down the street throughout the day. If I spend most of my in house time on the main floor I'll just leave the door unlocked rather than lock and unlock it each time I pass through.
when you have kids or some people might have others living in the house who go in and out, you're gonna wanna check everything too before bed
for some it's just an OCD thing

He has said it twice now as if its normal to walk out on the porch and take a good long stare to the right and left every 2 hours or something. Lol

Yeah...gotta hold things down and make sure no one gets out of pocket lol!...I don't know,it's just a habit I guess....I've done that for years.In fact a few guys on the block do it.

Haha I have the pants but no jackets...one guy who recently moved in across the street comes out sometimes while I'm on the porch and we will look over at each other,nod,and then go back inside.
