Anyone else have "rituals" before bed?

I dont think its strange, I dont live in the ghetto, nor do any of my friends, but all of us have "posted up" for one reason or another. Really you're just letting others know you're up and aware.

The only people I've heard of doing this in Ohio is in the ghetto. Rightfully so I would think. Why are you letting know others your "up and aware". Unless perhaps you live in the ghetto. Ill just set the alarm if anyone wants to screw with me or a gun will do. I just don't get it. If your going out and relaxing or hanging out I see that everyday. Walking out and specifically looking around to make sure "others know you are aware" just sounds paranoid to me.

Very common where I grew up in Southern California. A lot of people will also hang out front of their house and drink beer or whatever and just sort of watch the neighborhood. Especially if they lived in Los Angeles area in the 80's and early 90's.

I see people hang out on their porch all the time. I can see that. Walking out and specifically looking to the right and left then walking back in just seems like your paranoid of others or you live in a down trotten area which you have to look around to make sure nothing bad is about to happen.

Must be one of those big city things. Lol I could see that in the heart Columbus. Just not where I live.

Where I live, if people want to get in the house, they can. You can deadbolt everything but then you have these glass doors and big bay windows. That's why we need a machine gun nest on the second floor...

Seems everyone checks their locks. i have no rituals and i did a good job if i managed to actually close all my doors before i pass out. Luckly my house is guarded by a black and very boisterous great dane

Well I hardly live in the ghetto, actually I still fall asleep with the doors unlocked, usually open. Most of the time Im making sure nobody lets their dog leave poop in my yard, park in my spot, or drive like an idiot down my block, it pretty much works, yea Im that guy.

Which spot are you referring to,the one in front of your house?
