Im happy with my LFSs and i shop online too.Store owners have bills to pay and families to raise and dont have the luxury of sitting on the internet all day like a 15 year old kid.I think a lot of young people forget we didnt have internet when we were young and without LFSs there would be no hobby.

Sounds like an awesome store, but sadly it's a lot more than I can say for lfs around my area.

If I'm going to sell something, you'd better believe I'm going to know what I'm selling. I don't go in a guitar center and see a Gibson guitar sold as a Fender...ever,

That being said, this same store has salt and Victorian selection second to none. Lots of my fish have come from there and I've used them alot for parts locally .... Things Petsmart wont have........Bulkheads, overflows, Pricing is great on supplies and they have a ton......


But they always have something mis ided in the centrals. And the owner is a tool...lol.

No need for excuses fish were not labled as festa they were labled as red terrors(mayan cichlids) and thats what they looked like when they came in. Fish are most likely mayan hybrids. This store has been open over 40 years and stays packed 7 days a week they sell enough RO water to stay in biz LOL. Another thing you people fail to realize is most of the people who own fish dont use sites like these or order fish from the internet. I know at least 70 people with tanks and about 10 that use online fish sites. As far as your car coment it doesnt apply be cause the fish were 4 inches for $8 so its not like they are charging crazy prices.

Yes, it must be a great store if those fish came out of it. :ROFL: $1 is too much for those fish. We weren't even talking about your particular fish store at that point, just speaking in generalities about local fish stores.
