Didnt know about that, but chlorine and chloramine can be neutralized if you use a product like safe prime or another water conditioner

It is not stupid. It is totally true: if one uses chloramine-bearing water for their water changes, it will kill the beneficial bacteria and can kill the fish too. AFAIK, it is NEVER advisable to use non-conditioned water for your tank water changes, especially if changing a large amount. Water conditioners are very cheap if one uses them right and last a long, long time... but I have a bad feeling that you cannot find it in Jordan either? If so, you are confined to infrequent, small water changes and it will never work for your huge fishes. You gotta re-home them asap, I am sorry to say.

Yeah, thanks for helping us realize better and better what a tough position you are in. I lived in Algeria for 4 years with similar constrictions etc., so in a way, I understand how this can be. Our water and electricity supply was often interrupted. What we take for granted is real hard to find in such places, including hobby supplies. Fish keeping is rather a fancy, demanding hobby and in tough places like these where people struggle for survival, it is almost non-existent (other than ponds, farms, etc.).

yeah thats true people here almost hard to take care of them self what about take care of other living thing !! i know that from the beginning but i love fish and love this hobby i know its hard to be done right here !!

now i really doesn't know what is the conditioners?!!!!!!! my english isn't that good !!

now i found a producit in fish stores call anti chloramine ?? is this gonna help ?? and i need to add it to the tank after water change or i must added to the water before adding it to the tank ???

sorry i have some problems with internet !! i couldn't do some updates but now i'm back

now i will tell you what happend ever since i don't come to this site !!
the dieseas was very strong and almost had the whole fish the scars thats on the head of the paroon start to shown on all it body all the fish body had the same scars and they was bleed the hole fish was looking like a zombie with a white and red color true zombie !!

the fish didn't eat for almost 20 days it become very skinny but a miracle from god helped the fish it start to heal 1 weak ago the scars on her body is gone and the scars on her head are start to heal not healed fully but she back active and she eat very well

i didn't do anything for the treatment i only was did a 30% water change every weak and add some anti-chlorine ( conditioner ) that you told me about and add some epsom salt every weak !!

but now all i know that that fish is one tough fish !! and not easy to die :)

Good news! All well that ends well...

... but if I had to attempt to rationalize this... things like this do not happen without a good, or rather bad, reason. I think your water has been a problem:

-- Either the ammonia+nitrite, or
-- nitrates; your water changes cannot possibly keep up with the nitrate accumulation, you need 50%-75% twice weekly, which you cannot do AFAIU because of the insufficient water supply; or
-- unconditioned, chloramine-bearing water used for water changes, or
-- some or all of the above.

lately , i have been smelling some bad smell from the water of the tank !! i think i have some ammonia and those ppl in pet shops was lying !!

no do you recommend to do a 50% water change weakly and add anti-chlorine or not ??!!!!

I would change as much water as you're allowed to weekly and definitely use the anti-chlorine. The problem with your situation is that you have a fish that is too large for it's tank and this is most likely causing you issue with your water parameters.
