Black wolf. They are pretty much armored torpedoes with teeth and a temper unmatched anywhere in nature except for a bald faced hornet.
You rate them higher than amara?

Aimara is second to none in the wolfish family..
All Atractosteus genus have observed in full pure saltwater and few spotted & longnose gars have caught in brackish waters and pure seawater too.Are gars classified as brackish fish?? I was speaking in general terms even though i've heard there are population that can live in salty marshes. Heck, gars can live in the worst environments.
Easily beluga sturgeon
Almost twice as large as an arapaima
Very powerful
Bony scutes
huge mouth, don't even need teeth.

Aimara is second to none in the wolfish family. I think a wolffish is pound for pound more powerful than than an african tigerfish.
I too think an aimara will own a gatf. Aimaras come from fast flowing waters too. I think a big blk rhom will also do some serious damage to any fish that crosses its path (has greatest bite force, scientifically proven). Will also be a nice showdown against an aimara too. Arapaima will be the winner, due to size, and armor. JMO.
Yikes! So black piranhas already giving Aimaras a hard time....can't imagine if an Aimara sized black piranha would do to same thing to Aimara....An adult blk will not fit in an aimaras mouth. Just saying... and it's temperament alone will probably make that impossible. I would think the aimara would grab it by its stomach and try to shake it and kill it, but wont swallow it. Aimaras are often fished with huge pieces of fin missing from blk rhoms. Look it up.
