The simple answer is: There was no discount Saturday only pass available for purchase.

There was one available for Sunday for folks who wanted to attend primarily for the auction.

Having help organize and run plenty of fish events, it just doesn't make sense to allow people to pay a la carte, especially for the main day of the event.

Matt

There was no mention in this thread about wanting free admission.I tried to get an answer to why I was not allowed to pay on saturday at the door for 1 day admission.it seems sunday had a 10 dollar admission from what I can tell

This is it exactly. One day admission was available for Saturday, it just wasn't any cheaper than registering for the whole weekend. Sunday was priced differently because there were no speakers.

So they seriously turned down people at the door because they didn't register? Even if they offered to pay at the door? Wowzer

I wasn't there but it sounds like people who showed up and WOULDN'T pay to register couldn't take part in activities for registered attendees.

And people couldn't just pay what they wanted to register...

Matt

That would make sense. Glad I saw this cuz I'm the type to make a last minute decision and want to pay upon arrival

No, we didn't turn down a single person at the door, they just had to pay the registration fee and they were in. I probably registered 30 or more people that walked in on Friday alone.

People were allowed to walk thru the Vendors Rooms without having to pay a dime.
Talks, auctions and the breakfast were part of the Reg Fee.

Come back next year and you will see...'cause it will be even BIGGER. :)

Jeez it's over already lol!..Stop with the back and forth and let's see some photos...sounds like it was a blast.
