Two year old mauled to death by five pitbull mixes

I couldn't agree more. I don't get how he could have got outside without at least one of those five adults seeing him. In the article it the woman who was in the house said he could have climbed out of a window. Either way how did you not hear all the commotion right outside their back door? I know that boy had to be screaming his head off while he was being attacked and the dogs barking but yet no one heard this.

Your right it just doesn't make sense to me either. I mean out of the 5 adults not a one noticed he was missing or as you said heard the commotion from the attack? In either case it sickens me when people are so irresponsible and then claim how much they cared for the child. How much could they have cared for this kind of thing to happen when it was easily preventable? It's scary how some people are so tuned out and everyone seems to have an excuse or is totally caught by surprise by something that should be common sense. If you don't pay attention to a child(practically a baby in this case) something bad is going to happen to them. It's getting to the point with kids falling out of windows and other incidents of child deaths that I'm beginning to wonder if people should need to pass a test in order to have kids. Sorry for the rant and if I offended anyone, it's just this kind of thing twist up my stomach. The poor child didn't just get killed but suffered a really gruesome slow death because his family had better things to do then keep him safe.

It's the honest truth. There is no excuses that will can excuse the situation at hand cause at the end of the day it falls back on the people watching the child NOT the dogs cause they was just being dogs doing what comes naturally.

The story in the link says that the boy climbed out a windown and into the area where the dogs were being "kept". Very sad story none the less sounds like another case of Pits getting a bad name because their owners didn't socialize them correctly. I own both a Pit and a Cane Corso Mastiff and would have no issue with letting my future children play with them.

While I DO NOT defend dogs for some of them and their killing nature. I'm tired of this type of thread as it will not end well and will end up getting locked.

Maybe dogs should be a banned topic like like the other object got banned as they are both equal in responses

This thread is not ment to debate what happened or proper care for dogs. This situation could have been prevented and it's sad that a child lost his life because of ignorance.

Dogs shouldn't be a banned topic. Many people have different opinions on proper care for dogs witch causes the problem.

Perhaps I mispoke. When I used the words 'tired'. It was not my intent to 'attack' you on posting it. As others have mentioned we can predict how this thread will turn out despite your plans for it. It would be nice to have a proper discussion on it but the dogs are absolute evil vs. dogs are just like people crowd will crime in.
