I invited joey chestnut and kobiyashi to my backyard cook out last summer via their facebook page to settle this once and for all. Chestnut wanted kobiyashi to take olympic style drug testing, kobi refused stating he's the real champ and no one dictates the rules to him. joey told kobi to stick his wieners where they count, kobi called him racist and it all got called off

it's not the contract by itself that's the problem. the reason for the dispute is that the contract which that org that was doing the competition bound him to only do their org's competition for an "x" amount of competitions and while under contract he cannot compete in other orgs' competitions. so if he's in japan and they are doing a competition over their, he couldn't just go and compete. I read that they took off his picture from their hof wall even though he won 6 consecutive competitions.
it's so lame because it's just eating. it's not like it's boxing or something. he's not making millions off them
plus i think although it takes a lot of training to get good, i don't think it's a real sport
like mma vs boxing, I don't understand why fans of one would hate on the other
why can't the two just co exist?

funny thing is, one time my daughter saw me on the computer and I happen to be in a thread that akuma posted on. she asked, who's that girl? she was asking about akuma's picture in his av.
