FOR SALE....ROB ZOMBIE'S HOUSE!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I understand the reason he's moving is that they(the town) built a skatepark next door to his property and he can't get any pricacy.

While Rob Zombie may break the sound barrier nightly when he’s out on tour, his wife, actress Sheri Moon Zombie, is looking for some peace and quiet back at their home. With a skateboard park adjacent to their property in Woodbury, Conn., Sheri and her neighbors are asking for some relief when it comes to the noise levels.

According to the Woodbury-Middlebury Patch, during the annual town budget meeting in June, Mrs. Zombie voiced her concern, politely explaining her feelings. “I was wondering if we could designate some of the reserve to move the skateboard park that was put adjacent to my property which is proved to be a significant noise pollutant and has reduced the quality of life for me and my two other neighbors that it affects,” requested Zombie.

Selectman Gerald “Jerry” Stromski reports that the town has since taken some of the appropriate steps to help reduce the noise. “We enclosed the ramps so it would minimize noise coming out from underneath them,” he explained. Additionally, the park is now only open from 10AM to 5PM Monday through Saturday and closed on Sundays, substantially cutting back the hours of operation.

Ooops, my bad, that home is in LA. Must be nice?!

When I read about this on Gawker, my comment was, "Guys don't make fun of them. As the wife of Rob Zombie, she is an expert on annoying noise."

*Please note: I own an Astrocreep 3000 t-shirt from like, a million years ago. Just the stuff when he dropped the rest of the band was pretty godawful.

Interesting and that is one of the reasons my Tudor style mansion would be sitting on a few acres of land...

HOLD UP ROB ZOMBIE LIVE IN WOODBURY?! I'm going to that skatepark lol Woodbury about 45 minutes from me

I wish they showed all the rooms. I bet there is some freaky **** in that house. I like Glenn Danzigs house. It looks like the Munsters house

Sounds awesome and I've always had a thing for 1313 Mockingbird Lane....Feel free to post whatever pics you can find of Danzig's digs.

Clearing up a few things, that house where he's having issues with the skatepark is NOT in la, he does live in Woodbury, it is fairly close to the skatepark but not actually next to it. His property, nor the inside of his house is anything you'd expect from him, it's very nice and high end with quite a bit of flowers and colors on the property, the only thin "zombie style" is a raven statue on a pedistool in the front yard.

I read an article that stated the park was there when they bought the house, which pissed me off because he had no problem promoting his band in skating mags back in the late 80's. Hopefully they built the park after he moved in otherwise I probably won't be able to enjoy his work anymore knowing what a jackhole he is.
