WOW, I wouldn't have taken a 10-1 bet that dhk would ko silva like that. that was a clean ko. the follow up was the icing on the cake. he planted and put all his weight behind that and silva ate every bit of it full blast. no rolling or anything

disappointed in the maia fight too. props to jake, but yea it was close. I actually gave it to jake although I wanted maia to win.

this was the fattest I've ever seen thiago. he should've put Hamill away.

palharis is a scary dude man. he would've gotten sub of the night but they withheld it because they are investigating the sub for holding on too long. he has a history of doing that

some great fights and some not so great. was a good card for being free so i'm not complaining

one thing that seemed weird was that a lot of the fighters seemed to gas really early. but that's easy for me to sit here and say that

Highlight of the night no question was DHK. A lot of people are saying the Palhares hold is similar to Paul Daley punching after the bell. what do you guys think.

in this particular fight, no, this was not like Daley. Daley lost and was a sore loser and tried to sucker punch kos after the fight was clearly over. in this fight the ref jumps on them and he held on for, what it seemed like, less than a second longer. from where the ref jumped on them one could argue palharis didn't notice the ref. (although I gotta watch it again) but in this particular fight there would be no issue if he didn't have a history of holding on to submissions too long

only problem I have is that this isn't his first time doing something like this. he did it 2 other times. the other times appeared to be more blatant, imo

Didn't one of the previous ones cause a fairly serious injury?

I don't remember but leg and ankle locks are more devastating compared to arms and chokes.

guys can be out for a couple of years with knee injuries and some never come back the same. so if a guy has a history of doing this stuff, he needs to be punished. to me, palharis always seemed like not all the lights are on upstairs. he's done some weird things before in the ring. also he's been popped twice for banned substances in his system

i'm ok with that decision.

can't help but feel bad for the guy but then you think about his history,....

the article didn't say he was banned forever
