I don't like hating on movies in general... to each his own ,and if you dont get it ,somebody else does... that being said blade runner might qualify for me .. decent movie ... just not the life changing art its made out to be by some

I actually agree with this but only saw the first movie

it was so boring I lost any interest in any other harry potter movie and never cared to see the rest

If you can suffer through the second movie, the rest get better as they start to turn darker and darker.

I understand, people have told me that before but the first one was just so horrid, I literally was falling asleep, few movies do that to me. the level of boredom is too ingrained into my skull I can't see myself caring to see them

first one ruined it for me. if they are gonna start an epic series of movies, you gotta make sure that first one draws everyone in. but that's just me, it obviously drew in millions because every one was a success i believe and the last one made mega bank

Agreed. The first one was obviously aimed toward the younger crowd. Once they realized older people we're into it and that the cast was maturing as well the movies got better imo.

See, for me it was the second one that put me to sleep. By FAR the worst one in the series IMO. I was actually suprised that I liked the first one, I didn't think I would. It was slow, but I tend to like long, slow build ups. My favorite book serious has the slowest first book ever. But it has to establish a background for a new world essentially, much like the first movie (assuming you haven't read the books that is).

I think I got more out of the Harry Potter movies because I read all the books to my girls when they were growing up. By the time the last book came out the girls were teenagers and I thought they wouldn't want me to read it to them, but they did! Read the books, then watch the movies.

Agreed and as for Harry Potter I can't really say since I couldn't watch it long enough due to the thick accents

I really like Harry Potter and one of the best things about it is the English cast, I find the USA accent harder to understand than English.

Avatar in 3D is the most overrated movie ever imo. I hate 3D movies and they are all overrated imo cause who wants to relax at home or in the cinemas with a dicky pair of uncomfortable glasses on which are unclear and annoying to look through.
