Lookin great Matt! The highland giants are so unique looking, there's no other goonch quite like them. I love the big, wide head and the dorsoventrally compressed body. :)
 
Great Goonch collection matt!! I wish i was able to afford a goonch with my TATF order. Oh well, now i can hold out for a Lica haha or the next shipment from Wes. Does anyone else get goonch in regularly i should be checking out? sorry if it derails a bit but i didnt want to start a specific thread haha.

Goonch imports are sporadic, unfortunately. 2013 has been a bumper year, it's normally no where near this good.

Thanks Will :) Wes is the only one I know of who regularly gets them in. Others are independents (Who I have delt with)..they are as reliable as a ford gt and a big headache. Id wait until Wes gets another shipment.
 
Oh inice I figured it wouldn't be too many others lol. I really am hoping for some confirmed lica sometime soon, if not I'll settle for a rutlius! The goonch w/ a bunch of bichir will be a hell of a sight

Rutilus isn't all bad. They're the most colorful of the bunch-

Oh yeah its still a fantastic fish, don't get me wrong any goonch is one hell of a fish but the pattern on the Lica, is amazing haha
