My 2 450 Gallon tanks

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Since no ones asked, i'm more curious about the tanks themselves... were they actually built to be run together and then separated? Since i'm confused how they were separated by 180Miles?

But either way, seeing some one like yourself setup not one, but 2 450G's at the same time is definitely making me jealous... i wish i had the space for even just one 450G...

the tanks were custom built for an older mfk member named " big daves rays". dave quit breeding rays a while ago and sold the tanks separately. one stayed local and bounced around, the other went over the mountains with the sump. I was going to buy the one with the sump but passed, I bought some new rims instead :nilly:

im glad to see these tanks reunited as they were a sight to see setup and running before!

Ahhh so thats the story behind those tanks.... Good to see that they ended up back together and in the hands of another MFK member....

I just finished my 625 gallon tank this year. You are going to have an amazing set up. Though one thing you said 3 flagtail Prochilodus. From everything I have been told flagtails are supposed to be kept as only one per tank or in large groups? That is why I only got one.

My tank will be over stocked when all of my fish get to full sized also but that will take a long time :-) And I will deal with it when that time comes.

Yea I'm just going to keep a close eye on them. I'm already thinking of a bigger tank. Funny thing is I've only been in this hobby for 4 months, time can only tell what road I will take.
