My 2 450 Gallon tanks

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Those are some MONSTER tanks, I wish you a lot of luck with them. I'm sorry your thread got derailed by speculative non-sense, it will not continue.

it doesn't take a genius to figure out an RTC will outgrow that tank. OP, sorry for derail, I shall stop and let you carry on. Drew, I stopped but others wanted to continue derailing so I responded.

When you've stopped keeping your guppys and convicts and start keeping fish in big tanks then people may listen to your experience and not regurgitated stuff you've no experience in.
Stop derailing this thread.

Nice tank and good luck with it, that'll be some set up when done.

6x6 tank, and you're tank policing already? Not every tank is a final setup, people do upgrade if needed.

That's what I was think of when I was reading the comments.

I was assuming RTC was going in with the rays.

Since no ones asked, i'm more curious about the tanks themselves... were they actually built to be run together and then separated? Since i'm confused how they were separated by 180Miles?

But either way, seeing some one like yourself setup not one, but 2 450G's at the same time is definitely making me jealous... i wish i had the space for even just one 450G...

Yes they were built to run together. The 100 gallon sump has the inlets to run both tanks at once. Seperated by 180 miles, would be the distance I had to drive to pick up the second tank.

Still crazy to think you managed to reunite the two tanks after being separated :p

But as with everyone else on this thread, will be looking forward to seeing them filled and stocked...
