I have a small one in my bedroom, my girlfriend likes it. I'd like to think its led to some good sleep quite a few times.

My girlfriend loved the 55 gallon in our bedroom. She actually slept better with the water sound. Soothes her. She's an awesome trooper with me and all my tanks. 😁😜

Know a guy whose girlfriend tolerate all his tanks too. Got married and had a baby, then she gave him an ultimatum of keeping just one tank. Poor bastard.
Like I stated: "poor bastard"..........so, no he's not divorced.
But she did let him keep the 200+gal as his one tank

I have a 40g with a 17"+ BGK , 30g bow front with a 13" BGK and a empty 10g. Other than my 180g downstairs in my living room,I love the idea of being able to go to sleep and wake up next to my passion my lifestyle of fish keeping, my gf is another story. My gf at first didn't like the idea of fishes in my room... She said they would stare at her while we did the "dirty dirty" lol also my 40g is literally right next to my bed and she says she doesn't want the fish splashing water on her while she sleeps even though the tank is covered 😒 anyways she's use to it now she better be!!!
