Sad sad day for me yesterday people i lost my 22" six year old jardini , i did my best to save him but it happened so quick :cry: my tank looks so empty without him its stainge.
Ialso lost my giraffe cat which was just starting to show signs of good growth , fingers crossed my other fish are on the mend now and i dont loose any more

dang sorry, hard to lose a fish like that. This is how I felt when my betta( which I had for almost four years) died. Just life I guess, we all go through these moments together, that's what MFK is for :beer: once again sorry for your loss, I know how much you loved that beautiful fish.

I'm pretty sure it was either velvet disease but a serious case of it I treated the water as soon as I noticed signs but within 24 hours he was gone
I tested the water three times with two diff kits p's were fine , I even tested the salt content just on the off chance
Just one of those things I suppose that's fishkeeping :(
 
just a quick update people
My cichlids seem fine back to fighting :) few of my cats have still got cloudy eye and breathing fast but seems to be ok in the tank other than that , lights still off last day of treatment tomorrow , fingers still crossed

Crap feeling :'( question is what do I get now to fill the big jardini shaped hole in my stock ?
