blame the refs on the seahawks not having one!
I blame Jerramey Stevens more than the refs (though those calls were atrocious). Three of his four drops would have been first downs. Still can't figure out how he ended up married to Hope Solo.

He definitely grabbed him around the neck though. Whether or not he meant to do it is irrelevant because it's still not legal. Even on the slow motion replay, he still grabbed him around the neck. That's basically the same kind of play that knocked Manning out for 2 years.

Well, you helped that cause by allowing the Saints to win. Some bad calls in that game though. It was close. If that game was in SF I think they take it.
I'm not one to whine about officials losing the game for us (we should not be in a position to let them IMO) but they sure as hell didn't help.
isn't the rule hits above the shoulder?
^ crowd reactions play a part in those flags being thrown too. the minute you hear the collective gasps and see the head snap, you're tossing a flag. i wanna see replays involved with those flags going forward. 15 yards and a set of first down is a huge momentum shifter and its not the first time it's happen this year
Your neck is above your shoulder lol. You can't wrap a quarterback around the neck or the head but I think the play looked a lot worse than it really was. Looked like he got clotheslined
