Link is for reference only, I bought mine at dollar store they had them for 2 for a dollar. They work well and their about three times the size of a scrubbie.

They are actually about the same size just the scrubbies come with 6 in one pack. The one thing I disliked about the scrubbies is they take really long to colonize bb even with well stocked tanks

I heard that they dont do the beast in a square space. And with normal baffles setup. This sumps already complete minus media. I didnt want to have to change them. But at $375 - $750 for media ill have to.

I seen plenty of moving bed sumps set up in square tanks. It all in how you setup the flow. Why would you be paying that much any ways?

You said 60 scrubbies = a gallon or 2, i need 75g worth. 75x 10 = $750 but if its 2gallons it could be $375.

What about lavarock? I have like 50+ lbs of it. Im thinking of taking a hammer to it and bagging it up for media.

No I got ten packs that's 60 scrubbies but each pack is a dollar plus tax. So for a 75 maybe cost about $60-70 they do take up space so you might not need to spend that much.
