I think he really would have let it gone done peacefully as long as Rick and group were out on the road but he lost it at the end and decided Rick and group had to go at any cost.

A sane person would have been happy to safely have control of the prison. However this is the Governor we are talking about.

Do you think there was any way he would have let Michonne(sp?) with out killing her? Would Rick's group have remained peaceful if he killed her?

I think he started caring about his new family unit and really wanted the prison but no chance he didn't open fire on the group

Governor or no governor, this did just kind of die right here. Other than finding where everyone is, where they go and where the plot goes is pretty confusing to me.

Does seem odd that the physical strengths and weaknesses of the zombies go back and forth between terminator and rag doll.

They're heading to a big city. The story is loosely following a comic script

really? even if they don't kind of follow the comics, you really think there's nothing else they can come up with beyond governor and prison soap opera stuff?

I'm sure they come up with something and I guess I could peek with a comic book but honestly, these guys are in an odd limbo of comfort ability with the zombies. Zombie fights are getting boring because they can do like Daryll and shake em like a ragdoll or spray em away like Rick and the boy did the other night. Carol used to be pretty peaceful in the first season and now she has the least fear for a zombie of anyone IMO. The fights aren't going to be that interesting. Unless there's going to be laser zombies... lol

What's available to do now? What's available to do in a big city? Go head to head with another group? I think we saw that with the governor. I'd be interested to see them regroup and clear out a different prison or something with some high ground to not have to deal with zombies on the daily. That or laser zombies.

Dude, your thoughts are all over the place.

You don't want another villain (or arent creative enough to see the unlimited possibilities) and you want zombies to be more threatening but you want them to go to another prison where zombies are less threatening again? You also aren't creative enough to see the possible dangers being on the open roads or a major city brings? I guess the farm, CDC, open roads, Atlanta, Woodbury and various random camps and neighborhoods from prior seasons added nothing to the story?

They did. I enjoyed watching the group arriving at those situations as some wild surprises. I figured somebody would have a fort built and then they found Woodbury. I figured they would want their own and they got a prison. The farm worked great for awhile too. I viewed the stream as a moat. The restlessness seemed to be the downfall. Shots got fired and the herd stopped by for a visit. But if the rest of the season is going to be a repeat of Woodbury or the prison, what's new? What would be the surprise? Name and location? If it's a villain, let it be one that isn't going to repeat what the governor did because we watched that already. If it's a herd of zombies, lets see it be a challenge for the group. Let the zombies pull the trigger so they can dodge a slow moving zombie bullet. It wouldn't be interesting to me to see a school bus killdoze for a few scenes and then everyone knife some foreheads. Been there, done that. Really, what should I fuel my imagination with? Georgia isn't tectonic, is it? Should I imagine laser zombies to come out of the earth after an earth quake? Maybe they make a beeline for Canada? Might be too cold for zombies up there. I'd suggest landing an island but I would think the most manageable island including harvest is going to be the same distance as Canada and take at least as much work to clear as the prison.

Honestly, what's new to do to make this interesting? I'm not convinced that new leadership is going to take this in a direction that'll be interesting. I think that would get us some trolls in the group as soon as anything goes wrong. This group seems to hold onto its drama here and there. It'd be interesting to see them get tight and make it a science like a tribe and turn down every challenge that comes along. I don't see this group randomly setting foot in the same direction at the same time like that though.
