My Clown Knife

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
In the wild, yes. And I also told you people numerous times that we will upgrade to a big tank. But in aquaria I heard they normally get to about 18-20 inches average. Max at about 24. We are planning a massive 375 gallon tank for all the fish together and once we get it my family will get extra powerful filtration. My Clown Knife is growing quite fast right now at about 10 inches. Once my fish outgrow the tank, we will upgrade. The fish will be housed in the 375 for life. Would it be enough? 96 x 30 x 30. And my Clown Knife is on a diet of live feeder fish. My Clown Knife is very healthy and has beautiful coloration, it is eating fine and it will go out to explore the tank. Anything else to add to make my Knife happy besides a new tank? Any specific substrate? Any extra types of food to give it once in a while? Any tank conditional requirements? Anything needed? By the way I'm just 12 so please don't be too harsh on me.

They max 28-36 in aquarium so 40 in the wild

Math sir, 2 feet is 24 inches. 30 inches, maybe the max size usually. 72 - 30=42. Even if it was max size in the wild 40 inches, it wouldn't be 2 feet space left. 72 - 40=32. I think before you try to give me advice, work out the answer. And the max size would normally be 30 inches so I'll be fine with a 72 by 30 by 24.

@Andrink. Im going to try to help you now really. Please listen. The problem is that people here on MFK (many of whom have more experience with fish keeping longer than you have been alive) give you advice but you always make an excuse. If you post on here for help, listen to the advice your given. Dont say well this doesnt make sense, or im getting a bigger tank or this or that. IF you want advice take it, if you don't (as it appears you dont as you always have some kind of excuse) do not post on here. That being said I do wish you the best and the best for your fish. You are still young and will learn alot, let the more experienced here teach you.
I get that my tank right now is too small, but people won't shut up about it. They keep bringing it up when I got that sorted already! All I need is some other requirements like extra oxygenated water. Or different food. I know that I need a bigger tank and I got the advice. Everyone keeps telling me to get a bigger tank when I get it! That's why I am not really getting anything, people only flame me and 'give me advice' about tank size, I get it now! I want advice that isn't the same as everything that has been thrown at me for the last few months, because it's all the same thing! Advice is not advice when it's a group of people spamming and spamming every one of my threads telling me to GET A BIGGER TANK ANDRINK! It's not that good because right now all of the posters are basically bullying me for having a smaller tank that isn't the size of their huge tanks.

This is exactly how people treat me on my threads to. When they probably would do the same as you.
