There are many people including wholesalers and and a seller on aquabid now, who sell steindachneri as pellegrini I have kept both many times and spawned them, l actually have steindachneri in the pond now, at 2 inches the two are very easy to tell apart, if you had crassilabrus and pellegrini at 2" it's not as easy...either way all 3 of the red hump complex are interesting fish....pellegrini came again around again about 10 years ago into the USA hobby, I paid $50 for inch fish, after they started spawning the prices dropped to around $20 a fish, presently I don't know of anyone keeping them, not to say they aren't around......

I actually keep and spawn pellegrinni and to be honest at that size it is hard to tell.
