Eh, I don't mind so much. Nice the extra money is going to a local children's hospital. Not quite as creative as the flag bit, but I rarely hear fans in other places taking it to this level with each other. They might need to steal the Georgia/Georgia Tech rivalry game name for these two though .... Clean, Old Fashioned Hate.

Yeah but in my opinion it would have been such an epic statement to Seattle to just raise money for the Seattle Childrens Hospital with no billboard. They flew a flag over Candlestick, we donated to your kids with class type thing. Even though I despise Seattle fans and even more so the team, oh well I'm just not down for the childish stuff I guess.

I don't mind that it's the fans ... if it were the organizations doing it, then I'd agree with you. Fans tend to be childish by nature anyway so I guess it doesn't bother me.

Wholeheartedly agree. The retort is childish. Let our game speak for itself.

fans don't play though......they can only speak through fanaticism acts like this.

if they had just collected money and donated it, it wouldn't be a story. none of us would know about it

honestly, i think it's kinda cool. can't wait to see what hawk fans do to up the ante. btw, it's hilarious that ONE fan with ONE flag flies ONE plane over a stadium and it's credited to "seahawk fans" as a whole while a bunch of people donated money to get a billboard up. much more of a fanbase act then someone acting solo with the 12th man flag

Actually, it was a bunch of Seahawk fans that got money together to have a guy fly the flag. The extra money they earned also went to a charity.

So its basically tit for tat. I heard that New Orleans and Carolina fans are doing the same kind of thing with each other.

ive seen people raise money to have the colors changed on the bridge in portland to represent their bowl teams too.

just harmless fun.
