Giant dianos eventually sleep and become a midnight snack at 4". Boesemani rainbows are taller bodied, a bit longer, and more colorful.

Danios are built like tuna, for speed. Plus they are half the price of Boesmani....at least by me
 
i will have a look, giant danios i dont think are to common round here, rainbows ive seen at small sizes...

My Jag ate 6 giant danios in less than 24 hours... they stay near the surface, makes for an easy ambush attack. Plus the name giant is a little misleading as they don't get very big. You'll probably have to get something that won't fit in your fishes mouth. Silver Dollars or tinfoil barbs?

my ATF killed 5 in about 30 mins, but not much can outrun them lol I heard they work well with aro's but never heard of them being kept with cichlids.

In terms of danios, they are huge at an average adult size of 4"

My point was just that I know that GIANT danios are not giants in the general fish kingdom ;)
