We're coming to America!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Mt. Hood is awesome for mountain biking and spring sking. Lake Tahoe its between the grand caynon and Vagas. If you like snorkeling or diving Catalina island is nice, but the water is cold. Vegas has mandalay bay which has a shark dive program.

I used to work at a travelig camp. Here is there website, check out their itinerary to get an idea of stuff to do.

Thanks Matt, we will have a bit of time in Dallas so I'll make sure we check it out.

If you're going up to the Seattle area and like planes you need to go to the Museum of Flight. http://www.museumofflight.org/

Personally, the Museum of Flight > Evergreen Air Museum (though the Spruce Goose is badass)

By "music tourism" do you mean EMP (Experience Music Project)?

Which Boeing Factory? I've got five immediate family member who work for Boeing (or retired from Boeing).

Hmm, there is more than one boeing factory? My father is the one ararnging that part as he is the plane fanatic (and builds radiators/oil coolers for warbirds too) but the rest of us are all fairly interested. I was looking ath the Museum of Flight, but wondering if we might be a bit "airplained-out" after Evergreen, Flying Heritage and Boeing (I know Mum certainly will be!). As for the music tourism, I was a teen of the 90's so the "Seattle sound" shaped a big part of my musical taste. I would have liked to take a trip out to Aberdeen but don't think we will. Not sure how much there is to see/visit from that era but I'll see what I can find. EMP looks cool, hope they still have the Nirvana and Hendrix exhibits going when we're there!

There are Boeing Plants all over Washington. I'm assuming you're going to go to the Everett location where the finished planes are assembled. The Museum of Flight is located at Boeing Field, which is their Seattle location.

EMP was an okay experience. Fun to go once. Aberdeen has absolutely nothing going for it. There is a sign that says "Welcome to Aberdeen, Come as you are" and that's about it. You could always go check out Jimi's grave at the Greenwood Memorial Park.
