My Goliath 13-14" eyeball.....

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Awesome! Hopefully you hang on to him for years to come. I believe one other member on this site had a near 2 foot goliath in a 6x3 (probably not the best idea, but it did look to be in great shape), so it should buy you a good bit of time before the next upgrade.

I think there maybe something to keeping them in grow out tanks and not going after the huge tanks all at once.........a fish guru on here told me he thought that if they have a huge amount of space it gives them the opportunity to get enough speed to crash and kill themselves........I know who you are talking about with the 2 footer in a 6X3 and his was very healthy and happy........I have also heard of others with smaller ones in giant tanks that don't make it........it will be interesting to see as I slowly upgrade his home.......not making giant steps at a time

awesome fish op, one day i might consider one if i win the lotto!-) love this pic, you've probably all seen it but hey appropriate for the tank size, has too be pushing 30 inch?

The owner of that fish claimed that his tank was 10' by 4' by 4'. That means that fish is at LEAST 4' long.

looks more 30' x 30' too me, might be wrong though... what do you reckon? still the biggest aquarium aft ive seen!-) good luck cleaning your tanks in the future gaft owners lol, and padlocks if you have kids:irked:
