I want to set up a 240 Gallon Cyphotilapia gibberosa 'Moba' tank and a ~100 to 125 gallon Tropheus tank. I have used, trust, and want to use Eheim classic canister filters. I can use one or two on the tanks and under the influence of the sponge filter thread stickied above I will use one of those sized to the tank.

So what Eheim canisters would you recommend for the two tanks I want to set up?

TIA,
Tony

mm 240 = 2 x 2262, 125 = 1 x 2262

that was easy :)

I was once a Eheim Canister nut, but if your ever contemplating, my advice I have 2- 220g tanks I like to over filter and I live and breath the fluval FX5 or Fluval FX6, I have not one but two in each tank and its crystal and I have monster Peacock Bass in them,,Just my opinion..Good luck deciding

What made you change into a Fluval fan? It is usually the other way around.

id vote for the fluval fx6 or maybe one of the nu-clear inline filters myself. the latter ones are tough, heavy duty.

Ok if you can't decide.. I run an fx6 and a 2262 on my 180 that's been setup for only 2 days. The 2262 is a used one I picked up, and it is the quieter of the 2 if noise matters to you.
