I thought that they might be infertile. I said something to the worker and that is why he kept taking it out to look at. I bought them today and they recived the shipment today.

I think your egg is a bamboo shark. Its pretty cool and grew pretty fast.

I hope they aren't for your sake. And hopefully they'll give a refund to you if they are infertile. They can get their money back from the supplier too, so it should work out. I would call the pet store tomorrow and work out that process just in case. Six sharks at one time would be quite the adventure. Good luck!!

I agree that the don't look like bamboo shark eggs. They're too narrow. Possibly marbled cat sharks?

Mermaid purse is the general name they give to all shark eggs. Not just bamboo
