Odoe and tank mates

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Wow, that is a perfect looking large odoe. I don't have any experience with keeping one, so I can't comment on what sizes work together. But I had to comment on the pics. You don't see too many full grown odoes on here, their fin colors/patterns are so nice.

Agreed, that's a very very nice looking Odoe.

Dorsal fin looks huge. Have heard this is different male to female but no clue if there's any truth to this or not. Between color and size I'd say it's a male IF there is indeed any truth to it.......

I told charney the same thing inregards to showing him off more and the sexual difference, I never read it anywhere but i had one about the same size as charneys and the fin was no where near as long or colorful so i assumed it was a sexual difference

I'll be going to the Bronx on Saturday. How much? Sorry if I'm derailing Charney.

I am not sure, call the store, ask for Matt tell him you are my friend

I don't remember where I saw it, but thought it discussed the dorsal being longer, more flag like and significantly more color.

I experienced this with my first group of 4. There was one that stuck out like a sore thumb... Still hate myself for loosing that group. :(

I have one in my new group that has a different looking tail, hoping he'll turn out like this.....

I think Kevin (KNH) has one that's a little different then the rest of his group too.......

We really should start documenting these differences....... lol
