In this case it's beneficial for the community to see how something like this can be interpreted by others and some of what's been said needed to be said. I personally never measure my fish out of water and rarely net them unless necessary such as tank transfer and if there's a time to measure them out of the water I feel that's the time. Now that's not to say I fault those who do measure out of the water but I do think FF keeping the fish out of the water longer prolonging it's misery and for nothing more then a pic is wrong. So it needed to be said that such actions are irresponsible and cruel anything beyond that was unnecessarily dramatic. Plus keeping the thread open as long as it remains relatively civil gives us an idea of where other members heads are at and that's why I left the thread open and I imagine Rob had a similar reason.

Not really actually. I'm just tired of seeing him get away with his 'mods close this thread' BS. He makes these beds, let him sleep in them. I'm not his maid to clean up his threads when he does this stupid crap that he has to know by now will get the community to jump on him. He has no one to blame but himself.
If he wants to be accepted back into the community, he has to earn it. I wont tolerate outright abuse, but I refuse to protect him from earned criticism. HE created this problem.
How is this manufactured?
On the other thread of him measuring his fish I told him a way to do it so the fish is only out of water from the tank to the measuring bin, let's hope he does that. And doesn't keep a fish out of water for extra time for something completely unnecessary such as putting it on a skateboard. For all we know the thing kept flopping off and it took a few tries
Look at it like this, would you put your dog under water to put a shark fin on him for a picture? If you would then you just care about pictures way too much lol

Frankly, for a fish to reach your fish tank, it had gone through much more trauma than posting a picture on a skate board.
