I said shove it underwater. As in hold it out of its natural zone. Yeah, dogs swim. If the person was holding it under water for a pic and put it on Facebook he would have gotten the cops called on him. Just like the girl who wanted to show her friends how small her Chihuahua was by putting it in a zip lock bag and holding it up for a pic

She literally got jail time for that because she couldn't pay the fine

Frankly, for a fish to reach your fish tank, it had gone through much more trauma than posting a picture on a skate board.

So as long as someone puts a fish through less trauma for their amusement then it had gone through getting to a persons tank, it's all good?

Do you realize the hypocrisy of telling people to get off their high horses while riding high in the saddle yourself. As the statement faults others for judging while expressing your own personal judgement of them and their views, making you guilty of the same action.

lol, our hobbie creates 1000000's of fish to die un naturally in glass boxes. They are farmed and kept in cramped nasty conditions, then thrown in small bags/boxes transported around the world and then kept in tiny stock tanks at lfs. add to that all the torment the keepers cause them... understand its cruel to keep any larger fish unless you have a tank like airipimag. i dont think its anything too what the fish has already been through. Is fishing cruel then???

There must be other ways to discipline the op rather than attacking him for minor things that barely 20% of users see as a problem.

Yea, and that is the petty Peta bs that took good people and made them look like puppy killers. She put it in a zip lock for a pic and then took it out. So what. Get real.

BTW I fillet my fish alive when I catch them. It's fresher that way.

Alright guys i learned "my lessons".
Here they are
1.) do not measure fish outside of water
2.) catfish can not fingerboard.
3.) if you do 1 stupid thing in this hobby you are unfit to keep fish and should be "banned".

Seriously guys, i apologize for making this mistake. As I stated I will not do it again. Luckily the fish is fine and doing great. You learn from your errors and I certainly did today.

Imo you didnt make a mistake, we DO fish for the sport right? And those fish are out of the water much longer on grass wood stone or wherever your fishing , how much pics are out there of a fish in a man's arm and the same fish also in there kids or whoever is with them ? I thought this pic was funny so why all the commotion ?

Imo, he shouldnt have put the fish on the board but honestly, it's not as bad as many people are saying it is. Im not saying it's right, just saying that some people are over reacting.
@furiousfish, If you put your fish on a skateboard you are just asking to be flamed or banned. Your already in pink so why continue doing stupid things with your fish?
