So I really like the look of peacock bass and wonder if I could add one to my current setup. I currently have 225 gal SA Cichlid Community made up of a Green Terror, Tiger Oscar, Belly Crawler Pike Cichlid, Lima Shovelnose, Brown Knife fish, 6 silver dollars, 2 Gold Severums, 2 Large Common Plecos. I am thinking of removing the silver dollars because someone in the tank keeps beating them up pretty good and I have been unable to find out who it is. So look at my current community minus the 6 silver dollars and tell me if there is a bass that could live with the rest please. Thanks

maybe a Kelberi Tocantins?

Right off the bat I do not think 225 gallons is big enough... How wide is the tank? And as far as the tankmates go I am curious if they can live with them to!

six foot wide, two and a half foot tall, and two foot deep

In 2 feet deep they may be crammed... I would wait until a more experianced keeper answers... (I have that SAME tank size... I was told mine was a 210 gallon...)

I went off of an aquarium volume calculator and came to 225gal. http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/converter/volume-calculator.php

That's why I was thinking a Kelberi Tocantins, since there approximate full size is 9 to 12 inches. At least according to http://www.petsolutions.com/C/Freshwater-Fish-Plants/I/Kelberi-Tocantins.aspx

Wow! I had thought that all peacock bass got to 14+ inches! Well, if it truly does only get to 12 inches then the tank should be plenty big enough! Just not sure about tankmates...

Kels get up to 18" but that's rare, plan on 16". The tanks is big enough but it depends on the temperament of your other fish.

14-16" but they will get beefy. Should work, I kept my old ones with Severums and it worked out great in the same size tank. I had 5 Kelberi Bahia til about 8" them knocked it down to 3 and 5 Severums
