Oh, and I have a tank with a flowerhorn pair, a tank with a red devil and flowerhorn, and a tank with a bunch of community fish like neons and angels, swordtails, rams, etc.
/\ peacock bass and arowana will eat a jd before long and pikes and flowerhorns will kill one before long bad advice!
other medium sized cichlids would be a good choice like convicts or green terrors if you have room... maybe some good sized silver dollars or another jd of opposite sex.. depends on tank size really??

Well i have jds with oscars green terrors texas. It depends on the fishes temperaments. For me i try a pass or fail test and as soon as consistent lip locking start i remove the less dominant fish. Try rearranging decor so they can establish new territory. Or introduce them all at the same time. U can also spread out aggression with dithers ive had my luck with barbs and dollars. Best if luck
