I don't know enough about them other than they get pretty big.

What about small cichlids. A convict, salvini, couple of fire mouths and a Jack Dempsey?

May do that. Not sure what I'd keep but may do that. Would a Jack Dempsey allow for dithers or community fish though? Not sure if salvini or red terrors would either... They are pretty though.

Prolly not. I had silver dollars with my jack Dempsey and I ended up removing them. He didn't kill any but I did see him strike at a couple of them.

I'm starting to lean toward a CA tank. The hybrid breeding seems interesting enough to try. All this assuming I can figure out which are male and female or get one or the other when the time comes.
