You should absolutely check out native fish. Save money on buying and running heaters. Plus, contrary to most beliefs, there are beautiful native fish out there. I personally consider central longear sunfish a much prettier fish than any Africans. Plus, with that size tank, you could keep a bass and a chain pickerel. I'll post pictures of these fish to give you an impression.

Agreed lol and gars and bowfin. Heating this big of a tank would be tough.

Got the tank unloaded finally and didn't break. It was a nerve-racking experience now to get the rock out and the tank cleaned up and get water in it.. That's not me in the picture it's a guy helping me
