I remember the Draguar project from Hotrod magazine. Can't believe a blown small block only went 15s! They had a bunch of interesting projects, remember the 500 inch caddy motor the put into a Chevette? I bet warborg remembers

My kind of rides. Had a 85 s-10 on air. Shaved rockers body dropped 5 1/2". 39 ford tear drop tail lights frenched in. Pete and jakes triangulated 4 link. Layed the doors on the ground.

Don't remind me. I had a Hot Rod mag that had a Chevette with a blown 454 in it. That's what doomed my first Chevette. Back in 1986 I Thought I could drop a v8 in it. At age 20 with little car/engine experience.

Funny in the end I had a 305 with a turbo 350 in it(loose). I was planning on putting a starter on it and hot wiring it just to bump the engine. That's when I learned it was locked up. The flywheel bolts were digging into the engine. I pulled everything out and apart and had the bolts cut. When I returned to the car(a few moths later). Rats got in it and destroyed the inside. I threw my hands up and walked away.

Reminds me of a Nova project I had around 20. It was a 66 with a camaro sub frame. Total money pit, lost friends over it, and it never ran.

I think Ford re-did a Bullit edition for the newer Mustang a few years ago.

They did, a bit disappointing imo, mostly cosmetic, it looked good but performance wasn't much over a gt.should have really took it up a notch
