Did you watch the ray sting it?

I can't believe you've had such a rare instance happen to you let alone twice......

I've been keeping rays and wolves together for years and never even thought this would be possible.....

I have a big Channa Pleuro that was attacked by a Pike cichlid once who took its left eye tottally away.

It healed completely. Now he is my old rugged warrior.

Completely healed.

Yeah.... I was watching my fish at the time then i just saw the ray whip it with its tail... I am just happy that this time it survived unlike the igaza
 
He looks awesome! My lfs has a canycane squirrel fish that got his eye nipped out by a puffer and he swims and eats as if he still had 2 eyes.

Yeah, My wolf is still as agile as he use to be. he is making a remarkable recovery aswell... though he is still a bit stressed.
 
What kind of rays did you have????

What where the circumstances surrounding this? Was the ray startled? Wolf messing with it? Would love to know more........

I have a one eyed Gar here. Bought from a LFS. They had it in such a small tank I never saw it turn around. I thought I scored big when I walked out of there with a jet black gar for $50. Joke was on me. Got it home and put it in my tank and while it made it's first lap it showed me the side I never saw, the side with one eye. :( What was even worse is that it colored up like a normal Gar when removed from the LFS's crap water.

I still love the guy, his name is Jerry GAR-cia....... :ROFL:
