he 's a freakin legend..and you have your facts wrong ...he wasin lots of stuff until just a few years ago...

I was only half-trolling; I'm pretty sure I know who he is, but honestly he's completely irrelevant these days... Guess it really is better to burn out than to fade away.

anybody of a certain age remembers the ANDY HARDY role...this guy was nominated for the OSCAR 4 timesI mean ,you KNEW, and you aren't near as old as me........... he is kinda like SHIRLEY TEMPLE...HARD TO MISS
I'm in my 30s and had to check his IMDB before my first post because I wanted to be sure I was picturing the right guy. Nominated four times, last time in 1980 for the 1979 movie "The Black Stallion." Andy Hardy was a role he played in his teens and 20s, 60+ years ago. Just typed in Mickey Ro on google and the most popular search terms were 1. Mickey Rourke, 2. Mickey Rooney, 3. Mickey Rourke Face, 4. Mickey Rooney Death. Mickey Rourke has had a few major roles but certainly isn't Hollywood royalty or a legend.
A few years ago he played a major role in something good? He was in a lot of stuff through earlier this year.
I've got nothing against the guy, just disagree with the assertion that being unaware of Mickey Rooney is trolling or stupidity. He had an illustrious career but his best work was done many years ago.

Horrible way to honor the guy too. Why not share stories and memories instead of bashing younger members? Lets celebrate a career by belittling younger generations 👎

sure glad I have boc as my conscience..btw if people (of any age)don't know who he is ,is not my concern ,the fact they have to post on a memorial thread to marginalize those that want to pay respects ,will get me started every time...your bridge is over yonder
