Donald Sterling said as of 30 minutes ago via phone interview that his team is not for sale nor will it be. I'm from LA, I knew his son...Trust me when I say that Donald Sterling is a litigious man and not just because he is a lawyer. He is not rich because he owns the clippers, he owns the clippers because he is rich. He owns most of Beverly Hills, and half the high-end apt. buildings in Los Angeles and many in New York. This guy would rather take a sinking, broken and hated team to the grave, then sell it. There is a reason he has been an NBA owner longer than anybody else in the NBA. Not a partner or partial owner, but full owner. This is not the first time someone has tried to buy or take the team from him. So if anyone thinks this is going to be a swift and quick process, you can change gears and prepare to watch a long drawn out process. And if it does come down to 22 team owners voting on forcing the sale of his team...who do you think he is going to sell it to. He's going to give it to his wife or daughter (whose husband basically runs the day to day operations) and end of story. He no longer owns it (legally) but technically never gets striped of it because it remains in his family. But, let's see. That is my prediction.
