New thermostat and cap. Flushed the system.

Also, a front brake job (pads and milled the rotors). New brake fluid. Changed oil, fixed a leak at the right axle seal, inspection and air filter.




I almost got a new car out of it

Don't feel bad, I got got tonight too. Came home to a ransacked house today. They probably got a whole $100. Definitely coulda been worse. Time for a dog and burglar alarm I guess.

Thanks Sumo. I don't think so. I do know my lady and I just missed them though,by probably seconds. My gf should've been home alone at the time, that bugs me. There's no way we weren't being watched, that bothers me too.
 
yea definitely a scary thought

usually they would've staked you guys out pretty good before they do it. glad your guys' lost was minimal. like you said, could've been worse

first thing they saw was probably your tube tv and was like, crap,....... let's just take what we can and jet

Yeah, this has only happened one other time to me when I was 5, they vandalized the place on top of ripping us off. Hopefully they realized this place is a waste of time.
 
lol, no seriously my gf and I had a laugh when we thought about what they were thinking. We have nothing of value, we moved up to a 32" flatscreen though, that thing was $100 brand new :D
They were obviously looking for jewelry as they went through all my gfs jewelry boxes. They didn't care for Navajo artistry I guess lol. They even missed the laptop and camera in plain sight.
 
yea, anyone robbing my house would be wasting their time or just practicing, lol

I don't have anything of value either. other than my 2 flat screens and playstation3, going thru our things would just be a waste of energy. unless they really like fashion jewelry and women's shoes
 
My wallet was in my dresser, they took the probably $70,(all we can see they got away with at the moment) went through my credit cards, bank cards, SS card, and put them back into their slots, and left my wallet!! :)
