Stingrays? I have one myself, and they are all bred in Asia (except for a couple) so they aren't harming the natural population of them.

I think he was talking about the fly river/pig nose turtle...

Most likely, however you probably should come to the market and ask around. You 100% need to speak Thai or be with someone who does, most of them do not speak English fluently enough to negotiate a deal like that.

Oh ok, they are most likely bred in Thailand. If they aren't they will have been illegally exported from the country if they are endangered. I find Toucans here, you can literally get anything you want in my experience.

I've seen other stingrays like whip tail rays (I think) for like $5 if I can remember correctly. Sometimes I see stingrays all bagged up and ready to go with a bunch of other cheaper fish. The only rays here which are still really expensive are Black rays and the rarer kinds like Pearls, Tigers, Flowers but they still aren't to bad at all.
