How do they fare with plants?

Ive never had any live plants with mine so I dont know. I can tell you mine shows zero interest in Romaine lettuce like others will feed their Pearsei. Mine has always been fed on pellets and thats all it knows.

Awesome Oscar. Mine is still pretty small. I also like Fire Mouths, Jack Dempsey's, and Green Terrors. IMO the Electric Blue Jack Dempsey is one of the best looking freshwater fish.

Mine is probably chocolate because the ones I've had over the 5+ years has always been laid back compared to other cichlids. They can take care of themselves if needed however will not go out of their way to mess with others.

Got some nics now and they are growing on me also.
