Not a monster tank, but new nonetheless ;)

Tank sits flush with edge of stand and i guess this isn't normal...? But multiple other people think it will sit inside the stand supported only on the corners. But running the tanks entire length, r 2x6 that r 1.5in wide, sides are supported by same boards but shorter and acrylic is 1/4in thick. Its well supported. By the end of today i should b done with everything! I'm so excited!

Acrylic is not designed to be on an open top stand like that, only glass tanks. You need to put a piece of plywood down before the tank is filled.

Well. Since general consensus is that it needs a center support. It now has one :) We had extra wood from the 2x6, so figured it wouldn't hurt. Now there's a 1.5in thick board in the center. Should have no issues. Installing filtration now. Since i can't use the fx5 hose holders on the tank, attaching them to the stand itself is working perfectly instead. We'll see how it holds up to turtles. But it works when on the tank, i see no reason it'd fail here. IMG_20140608_124111:nopm:.jpg

The center support is a great idea, but if it were me I would still use a full sheet of plywood for the tank to rest on.

Too late now. But rundown is: 32" L and 20" W is open on both sides. Acrylic is 1/4 thick, sitting on 1.5in wide boards. 2'x6' on length, and 24" 1.5in boards on sides, so all edges are supported... I guess I'll have to hope it'll b fine for a few months. I mean. Seems sturdy to me. But this is the only stand I've built, so. I'll keep it in mind next time i guess.

As someone who had a 220g tank explode in their living room, I assure you you will feel differently if it fails. But to each their own I guess...

I don't own the "manufactured home". I don't really like my landlords and the structure is a pos. Might do it some good to replace a floor
