fight scenes was pretty good. but for the bandwagon jumping sheep who love everything they give you despite the mistakes, don't you guys feel they jerked you with giants only to leave your nuts blue with the giant vs 5 crows fight? what the hell? the giant runs toward the crows, a huge fight scene is about to occur and they cut away. only to find all of them dead at the end. that really disappointed me. it would've easily been a huge climactic icing on the cake fight.

episode was good but not great. ppl who died dont really matter or had no build up this season to make you feel anything , dialogue wasnt great, some predictable stuff like the commander obviously being a badass when the time came down to it, the other dude being a coward, sam stepping his game up and laying the mack down, Jon showing leadership skills.

i just didnt really think it was all that great. it was decent. Last weeks episode was much better story wise but i guess thats cuz this episode took place in the same scene with mostly characters that havent been built up very well this season. at least thats the way i see it. GoT show isn't a show that does great battle scenes. they do great fight scenes with 1 on 1 or small group fight scenes but they don't shine when it comes to big battles with large groups or army vs army

killing ygrite now doesnt mean much to anybody, at least thats how i feel. her story has been bypassed for quite a long time so it didnt feel emotional and the death scene was predictable as well.

I agree Sumo, I got the feeling as I was watching it that it didn't feel epic ... maybe because they sat and watched the giants wreck the gate for quite a while before doing anything about it. Overall I liked it, and some great parts. But it just felt less epic than I was expecting, perhaps unfair expections but still ...

After reading rob and Krich yacking and then watching it today I was disappointed....but also it wasn't a major battle. Just a test.

Id rank it as worse episode in several weeks

yea i can't really put my finger on it, but i feel they were going for an epic battle type episode but it didn't really deliver.

a few great moments was all it had

agree that this was my least favorite episode in the last few weeks

Lol,yacking?....my problem with the giants and the whole show pretty much was that the battle took place in the dark of night so you couldn't enjoy the action as much.Hopefully they attack the wall in the morning next time...After their hype when they popped up a few episodes ago, what let downs those bald headed cannibals turned out to be...I suspect we won't know Tyrion's fate until next season.

about knowing tyrion's fate, i'd be happy if he had just a little screen time before we say goodbye for a year

I don't see what you all saw in ugly Igrite.

All the dimes in this show and you all go on and on about Igrite,smh...I guess the guys defending the gate were a little scared and probably had never seen a giant before, let alone witness one rip a gate from its hinges.

I don't see what you all saw in ugly Igrite.

i found her attractive when we first started to get to know her. the raspy voice, the character, being a flirt while captive by jon

but yea, she fell off for me after a while when all the dimes where flashing their twins left and right. she simply doesn't hold a candle to someone like missandei
