I support kendall 100% all the hunts were perfectly legal. It is very sad what people are saying about her they should do a little research before they open there mouths about something they don't understand. Hunters have done more for conservation than any animal rights group.

The owners of one of the companies I contact for does this. Flies to 3rd world countries which have little to no revenue, pays them astronomical funds, and kills rare and exotic animals. Cheetahs, leopards, hippos, elephants, rhinos. Endless photos. Tells me it is legal, which it is by the laws of man. 600 ft office with probably 30-50 dead animals of the walls and floors.

The money goes to the local economy and conservation he says. Blah blah blah.

I've shot deer which I've eaten, and harvested plenty of fishes. But to pay a huge sum to kill animals with endangered populations, then relieve your guilt by saying the money helps conserve them from other people who don't have the money to "legally" kill them is something I cannot understand. Logic I'm unable to follow.

Totally agree diesel.

If these helpful hunters want to really help how about they just donate the money instead of hiding behind it.

How do people not understand that these endangered African animals are NOT endangered because ppl are getting a few tags a year to hunt them, they endangered from habitat loss and poaching! If u understand population dynamics at all culling a couple animals will not effect a species population overall, especially when possible dozens or even more of those animals were gonna die from habitat loss etc that season anyway. Don't u think that when these animals are hunted, they gain more value to those with money. They become MORE protected from poachers and the habitat is more protected so the population is protect the so the hunting can continue. There's ur logic!

The problem I have is that these people could just donate the money(which they could) and let nature take it coarse. But instead they have to kill one in order to put up so much money. Oh how passionate of them. Instead of letting the poachers kill them, I'll use my millions of dollars to ensure only I get to hunt them. What a joke.

Yeah I see what ur saying, but if ur read brich999 article the animals being hunted are usually old males (make the best trophies) who no longer procreate adding to the population. They even sometimes attack younger rhinos over territory disputes killing them. they may also take resources such as territory and food from younger rhinos that would further the population. So I see what ur saying but there's another side to it a lot of ppl don't think about or maybe don't want to accept = that nature itself isn't a disney movie its brutul. That's the truth.

Umm, Isn't hunting (legal and illegal) one of the main REASONS/CAUSES as to why we NOW need CONSERVATION.

Yes, nature is brutal

However, nature does not = GUNS SHOOTING ENDANGERED ANIMALS

If anything, GUNS SHOOTING ENDANGERED ANIMALS is as UNNATURAL as UNNATURAL GETS.

I know you guys are right to some extent, My emotion skews my perception on this topic.

What she's doing isn't nearly as bad for species on decline as some cultures where eating endangered animals is a status symbol.

Habitat loss, poaching, legal hunting in this case, competition for food. I feel like it's only a matter of time and we will see extinctions of many populations. Decline in biodiversity.

I believe i understand the population dynamics and how thinning can be beneficial. But I think that's more applicable to an environment where unregulated poaching isn't a significant factor to be considered. In this case poaching is rampant in some of these regions and already thinning populations. It's hard to say if the bullets are helping the populations or are depleting them.
