I made the jump from iPhone to Andriod!

The touch screen is horrible on my S4. It's way too damn sensitive and there's no way to decrease the sensitivity, you can only increase it. I thought the jump to 4.4.2 might help, but same thing. It's no better or worse with the otter box on it.

Is the S5 any better?
 
so i'm at best buy looking at the ipod touch 5th gen.

I tell the bb rep, I only need something for my kids to play games and watch nursery rhymes on youtube. he points me to the $170 ipod, 16G.

then he was like, I gotta tell you though, the $230 one is 32 G and it has a front side and reverse side camera whereas the 16 G only has front side camera.

then I realize what the big difference was. the 16G can only take selfies. you can't take pics of anyone like a traditional camera because you couldn't see the freaking screen. THAT IS SOOOOOOO STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!

it's like a camera without a screen or a lens to look thru so you see what you are taking a pic of. someone tell me what in the EFF is the reason for a strictly front facing camera????

pisses me off man, just another reason to hate apple. I want to like them but these little things just pisses me off. so I gotta pay $60 extra just to get a back side camera along with the front. STUPID STUPID STUPID!!!!!

I thanked the guy though for being honest and telling me what the difference was that noobs like me usually miss

You missed the extra 16g memory. The reverse side camera is just a bonus :)
 
Btw, ipods werent meant to be camera taking devices. They were music players with storage for pictures and apps. It wasnt until way later that cameras came into play

I know ipods were originally not meant for what it is today. I don't care what it used to be for. today's stuff come standard with the cameras on both side.

but my gripe is, why would you have one gen have front and back facing cameras, then take it away on the next gen?? doesn't that sound retarded?


but it turns out they do have 16G gen5 that has front and back facing cameras. I found some and will pick them up tomorrow. still seems like a dumb idea to have some 16G come with it and some that don't come with it.
 
I enjoy the the iphone and recently got a ipad mini.
But what I hate about the iphone is that when a new software update is available that takes say 50 mb of space, i have to have 1 GB free space, WHY?

I have to delete and re-install apps to get a software update, idiotic.
Other than that I'm happy.
 
so I bought two ipod touch, 5th gen, 16G

they only come with the adaptor cords. not the wall plug. so if I didn't already have a wall plug i'd be forced to buy one.

and out of the box, one of them won't work. doesn't turn on. I charged them right away and one of them just has a black screen that keeps blinking the apple logo like every 3 seconds

this is just super, fml...........
 
what you mean why?

the older gens cost the same if not more

what? should I buy refurbished? they are only like $10-$20 cheaper
