Wish snapper were in season, would've been a nice meal

Awesome! I hooked a 3.5' monster a little while ago. They are great fighters!
Sweet!Got back from my 2 year awaited 9 hour 15-25 mile offshore charter today! I caught about 20 Black Sea Bass ranging from 8-12" and 1-3 pounds. As well as 3 Sand Sharks, 2 were 36" 10 pounds (rounding tenths of inches and ounces) and one was 42" 12 pounds! Not much variety in my catch but I caught a lot. My cousin caught about 5 or 6 seabass, a 21" red snapper, a 16" Vermillion Snapper, a 30" sand shark, and a 42ish" Amberjack! We're both exhausted as he!! and I've never been more worn out after catching a fish.View attachment 1025897View attachment 1025898View attachment 1025899View attachment 1025900View attachment 1025901View attachment 1025902Wish snapper were in season, would've been a nice meal
. Kept the Amberjack and the biggest bass though, anybody know if Amberjacks taste good?
Yeah that's why it's not fair. Because they stock those trout to just let the bass just get SUPER fat and happy. Normal lakes don't compare. Even some of the best lakes around the country that are renowned don't produce fish like those lakes in CA.
