Bro, all you need to do is siphon it out with a hose! No need to net out! You can do it in like two water changes.

And funny that you mention the "all bichirs are starting to look the same", my wife always asked why I was always buying the same fish? I said whatever are you talking about. I have many different species...... she'd scratch her head and say "they all look the same". Now she likes my bichirs.

Lol. All my family members told me that what the heck are you buying? They're ugly and looks like snakehead. Lol. Then when my bichirs were only 14". They told me to sell them b/c they're "too big".... Yeah, right, look at my friend's bichirs... All 20"-24".

I care!!! I am married...... gotta wake up to the wifey everyday!! When it comes to fish keeping, it is always best to have her on your side. Just recently I showed her Toyin's list and told her I was CRUSHED between two bichirs and just don't know what to order!!?? She laid back in the couch with her favorite chocolates (I had just bought her) and said "ORDER BOTH!!!!" Then I responded by saying, " I GUESS". HAHA!!

These three pics are of the same bichir. Ordered this girl from Toyin directly. Pic one is when I first got her at 19"s. The second pic (dark lights) is about a month old. The third pic is a few days old (bright lights) pushing 21"s. The contrast is popping out incredibly. I have other farahna laps but this is the only one with this kind of granny smith/neon green color.
