Cory cats with frontosa?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If I'm thinking of the right fish then it's possible. Fronts from what I understand aren't that aggressive. I would put then together when the fronts are young so when they get bigger they'll ignore them

Wouldn't the petricola eat the eggs of the frontosa if I do decide to breed and keep the fry?

Petricola aren't parasitic breeders like S. multipunctatus if that's what you're thinking of. Otherwise fronts are mouth brooders and will be able to keep the eggs away from the petricola.

Yes that is what I was thinking of I did a little research and got scared lol think the whole process is kinda cool though I'll look deeper into them I did get a common pleco so maybe a little clan of the petricola would work but I don't want anything that will harm the fins or the frontosa

Petrocola or Lucipinnis work great with Fronts, I use them as the clean up crew. Get 8-10 and watch the show they put on schooling together.
